Navigant CU, Smithfield, R.I., added to its board of directors Dr. Peter Baziotis, chief of Memorial Hospital's anesthesiology department and a clinical assistant professor of surgery at Brown Medical School, and James Salome, president of Vanco Industries. Separately, Charles DeBlois Jr., was elected board chairman, Catherine Parente was elected vice chairperson, and Roland Lachapelle was elected board secretary.

Hanscom FCU, Hanscom AFB, Mass., appointed David Ossam VP of human resources.

The Texas CU League announced voting results for league director positions: Suzanne Chism, president of Texas Health Resources CU, category b ($10-$20 million); and Kay Stewart, president, North East Texas CU, category e (over $100 million). The following asset category elections were uncontested: Carol Murray, chairman of the supervisory committee of Express-News FCU, category a (under $10 million); Nancy Croix Stroud, president, First Class American CU, category c ($20-$50 million); and Wayne Mansur, president, Texoma Community CU, category d ($50-$100 million).

Braintree, Mass.-based Tremont CU appointed 2010 Republican gubernatorial candidate and former Harvard Pilgrim Health Care CEO Charlie Baker to its board of directors.

CommonWealth One FCU, Alexandria, Va., appointed Wendi Meadows manager of itsJames Madison University branch.

Solutions in Finance, Inc., hired Gary Fee as SVP of mortgage and consumer services and Mark Blevins as VP of indirect lending services.

Cincinnati's New Horizons CU named Gary Hesse president. Hesse succeeds LeRoy Wilder, who retired in April.
