Peoples Trust FCU Joins CO-OP Financial For Payment Processing

HOUSTON -- People’s Trust FCU has selected CO-OP Financial Services for network and payment processing services, including access to CO-OP Network and in-house credit card transaction processing.

Steve Branstetter, chief financial officer for the $445 million credit union, cited the member-ownership aspect of CO-OP as one of the main reason for joining the CUSO. “First and foremost is that we will not be just a client but an owner-shareholder,” he said. “We support credit unions collaborating to create value for our members.”

People’s Trust FCU has also contracted with CO-OP for VISA Debit transaction processing and terminal driving for its ATM fleet.
