The CUNA Technology Council presented its Best of Show Award to PLANet, hosted by Strohl Systems, King of Prussia, Penn.
Presented during CUNA's Future Forum here, the award recognizes PLANet for providing "users with a cost effective solution that simplifies the process of developing, testing, and maintaining a comprehensive plan that covers all business processes and functions. "
The Technology Council said its first best of show award at the Future Forum was created to honor an exhibitor that demonstrated a commitment to delivering technology that will further the growth of products and services in the credit union marketplace. The six main criteria for judging included benefit to credit unions and-or their members; commitment to open standards; knowledge and interest of the credit union industry and its market; affordability of product, especially for small CUs; current use of product with an indication the product is not "vaporware," and longevity of company in the future.
