PHOENIX – Authorities are searching for a suspect who robbed a Desert Schools FCU branch wrapped in bandages from head to toe.

The suspect, dubbed "the mummy," walked into the credit union on Jan. 30 with his entire face and hands wrapped with bandages. The suspect even hobbled into the branch on crutches.
But the robber then vaulted over the counter, leaving the crutches behind, grabbed cash and took off running, according to police.
Though his identity was carefully concealed from video surveillance, police hope a witness saw him changing his clothes after making his getaway.
