BURBANK, Calif. - (03/14/05) -- A local woman was hospitalized forpsychiatric evaluation Friday morning after threatening to shootherself in her car in the Lockheed FCU parking lot while holdingpolice at bay. The 29-year-old woman, who police would notidentify, sat armed in her car as Burbank police officersnegotiated with her over her cell phone to put the gun down. Thewoman left her handgun in the car and surrendered after her cellphone battery died.
