BROOKLYN, N.Y. – Polish & Slavic FCU, the nation’s largest ethnic-based credit union, announced Friday it has donated $100,000 to help establish a chair of Polish studies at Columbia University. The Chair will promote Polish culture and studies, help Polish community schools improve academics, and assist with the administration of the Polish Language Regents exam. The $1.1 billion credit union is helping to raise funds for a $3 million endowment to create a Polish studies program at the Ivy League college.
