OTTUMWA, Iowa - In September 1963, Morrell Employees Credit Union employed the “Little Man Under the Umbrella” as mascot for its women’s bowling team. The image, done in blue on white blouses, were balanced by red underarm inserts and slacks, providing an image patriotic both to the U.S. and to their credit union.
