DealerTrack Surpasses 100M Mark

LAKE SUCCESS, N.Y.-DealerTrack Holdings, Inc. said it has processed more than 100 million credit applications, connecting more than 21,000 dealers with more than 200 financing sources.

Overall volume of transactions processed in the DealerTrack network in 2005 grew more than 54% over 2004, and includes credit applications, credit bureaus, and loans processed through DealerTrack's eContracting solution.

Autoworkers FCU Selects Diebold

NORTH CANTON, Ohio-Autoworkers FCU of West Mifflin, Pa., has selected Diebold's Agilis software in tandem with Diebold's Opteva ATMs.

Together, the two offerings allow ATM users to utilize screens created by the financial institution to convey marketing messages and personalized greetings. The free screens are available to the financial institution for the life of the ATM, the company said.

FIS Unveils New Core Banking System

JACKSONVILLE, Fla.-Fidelity National Information Services recently unveiled what it says is the industry's first database independent, real-time core banking system, as an enhanced version of its FIS Profile multi-currency core processing system for deposits and loans.

The enhanced version of this system, Profile v7.0, is database independent.

ACR Touts Collateral Recovery System

SEABROOK, N.H.-Advanced Collateral Recovery (ACR), has released the Proactive Collateral Recovery (PCR) system, which it describes as a "cutting-edge risk management tool designed to maximize return on investment (ROI) of automobile loan portfolios (ALPs)." The technology monitors the location of the vehicle though a "Virtual Site Indicator (VSI)," a low-cost tracking device for vehicle position monitoring. "It provides scheduled or on-demand position reporting of your collateral," the company said. The VSI is hardwired into the vehicle at point of sale.
