Inaugural Issue Is Launched

CORVALLIS, Ore.-brass-CU, a money magazine for young adult credit union members, has launched its inaugural issue, which was sent to more than 30,000 young adult credit union members across the country.

Among the first credit unions involved are Mountain America Credit Union and First Tech Credit. brass-MEDIA Inc., the producer of brass-CU, offers ways of penetrating the 18-25 market, a segment the company said just one in eight credit unions is currently trying to reach.

MACU Wins 'Ring The Bell' Award

SALT LAKE CITY-Mountain America Credit Union has been awarded the "Ring the Bell" Award by MyDas Marketing Inc. for its Mountain America University (MAU) program.

MAU is an internal training and education resource for credit union employees.

"We're proud of our university and the resource it is for our employees and managers. Over 400 employees have taken advantage of MAU since its inception 3 years ago," said Suzanne Oliver, VP of training.

2 More Join CUSO Financial

SAN DIEGO-Two more credit unions have signed agreements with CUSO Financial Services, LP, a financial services advisor and full-service broker/dealer.

The $136-million Marriott Employees FCU and the $607-million Citadel FCU have both signed with CUSO Financial to help manage their investment and insurance programs.

CFS currently serves as a broker/dealer to more than 80 CUs, including 26 of the 100 largest.

CPCU Selects CommonBond

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M.-CommonBond Communications said that $32-million Cleveland Police Credit Union will offer to its members CommonBond's CU Kids Club and CU Teens Club, both online education programs for its younger credit union members.

With CU Kids Club and CU Teens Club, Cleveland Police Credit Union is complementing its existing Cradle to College (C2C) program for members. With the two new online youth program websites, the C2C program offers additional financial information, online calculators, and activities for kids and teens.

The CU Teens Club website also includes career and college information.
