Two CUs Sell Card Portfolios

PORTLAND, Ore.-AssetExchange, an independent credit card portfolio brokerage firm, facilitated the sale of two credit union credit card portfolios to two buyers. Selling their portfolios were the $150-million Fiscal Credit Union, Glendale, Calif., which declined to identify the buyer of its members' cards, and the $116-million Members First CU of New Hampshire, which sold its portfolio to InfiCorp Holdings.

GCC Servicing Adds New Tools

SOUTHFIELD, Mich.-GCC Servicing Systems, a mortgage service bureau, mortgage servicing technology and service provider, said it is now offering the tools to allow CUs to participate in the Federal Home Loan Bank's Mortgage Partnership Finance (MPF) Program. The company said that when a CU implements the GCC Servicing System, GCC sets up an interface to the CU's software system. If the CU is unable to invest the time or money, GCC said it will install an Intranet to allow other departments to access a member's mortgage information, and to handle simple payments.
