Several Initiatives Are Launched

FORT WORTH, Texas-The parent company of CU Members Mortgage, Colonial Savings, has been selected for the Freddie Mac 2004 Tier One Hall of Fame, the prestigious ranking of performance excellence in investor reporting and default management. It is the second consecutive year that Colonial and CU Members Mortgage have achieved the recognition out of the 1,500 lenders that service Freddie Mac loans nationally.

Seperately, CU National Mortgage has created a correspondent lending solution for CUs. The goal, CUNM said, is to provide "consistent and competitive daily pricing; excellent service; a wide range of conventional and non-conventional products; and superior technology."

CUNM will provide the underwriting engines, products, rates and sale of the loans into the secondary market.

Finally, CU National Mortgage said it has launched a multifaceted marketing and public relations program through the services of 3rdRail Direct Marketing, Comet Sports Marketing, and CSM-PR.

The innovative approach will fuse together CU National Mortgage's brand message with a direct marketing and advertising program developed by 3rdRail, and Comet Sports Marketing's multiple sports and event marketing properties, including a NASCAR team sponsorship. CSM-PR, a division of Comet Sports Marketing, will handle all public relations.
