PIN Debit Account Migration Begins

ST. PETERSBURG, Fla.-PSCU Financial Services said it has begun migrating 26 member-owner credit unions to its enhanced DebitAdvantage Solution for signature and PIN debit cards. Once these migrations are complete, the DebitAdvantage platform will service nearly 500,000 PIN debit accounts, the company said.

"In addition to the efficiency and convenience of having an integrated platform for signature and PIN debit accounts, DebitAdvantage offers credit unions access to: the largest national network of ATMs; the largest POS network in the country; and the respected First Data Debit Services' platform," PSCU-FS reported. Citadel FCU in Thorndale, Penn., was the first to complete migration, and now has 80,000 signature and PIN debit and proprietary ATM accounts on the new processing platform.

Tucson Old Pueblo Sells Cards

TUCSON, Ariz-Tucson Old Pueblo Credit Union here said it will sell its 3,700-account credit card portfolio to InfiCorp, in Atlanta. The portfolio has $7.7 million in receivables. The sale was brokered by Brookwood Capital, Peterborough, N.H.

Image Compression Unveiled

LAS VEGAS-Cheq Information Technology Inc. said it has found a way to improve image compression effectiveness for 24-bit color and eight-bit grayscale 200 dpi check images.

The core technology underlying the check image compression advances is from LizardTech, a division of Celartem Inc.

New York CUL To Promote PMP

CENTENNIAL, Colo.-CENTRIX Financial, a provider of special auto finance portfolio management for credit unions, said the New York State Credit Union League (NYSCUL) will promote its Portfolio Management Program (PMP) Auto Loan Participations to the league's 571 member credit unions. The NYSCUL joins 30 other credit union leagues that have similar partnerships with CENTRIX.
