SACRAMENTO, Calif. - The Golden 1 Credit Union has introduced a web-based college planning service offered by Collegiate Funding Solutions (CFS).

Members will have access to the service at the Golden 1 website and will be able to create customized plans containing strategies designed to reduce the ever-increasing cost of a college education.

Such plans also provide practical options for college savings and financing decisions, according to the credit union.

Collegiate Funding Solutions provides a web-based college planning service that it says helps credit union parents of all income brackets develop custom-designed plans to help reduce their out-of-pocket costs for a college education.
