The ATM manufacturer said a 16% gain in third quarter revenues to $1.4 billion was offset by $62 million in pension expenses, and a $30 million charge for acquisition costs. Third quarter revenues include a favorable 5% impact as a result of foreign currency transactions.

During the third quarter, NCR deployed its APTRA software suite on multi-vendor ATMs in Alaska USA FCU’s ATM network and signed with Redwood CU to deploy NCR SelfServ ATMs as replacements to 33 currently installed machines, including 30 non-NCR ATMs.

For the first nine months of the fiscal year NCR reported a 12% rise in revenues to $3.8 billion, and a 35% decline in net income to $64 million.
