PSCU-FS Donates $50K To Fund CLC Scholarship Plan

The CUNA Lending Council Scholarship Fund recently received a $50,000 contribution from St. Petersburg, Fla.-based PSCU Financial Services.

This is the second time since the scholarship fund was created in April of 2004 that PSCU has contributed a donation of this size.

The scholarship fund, which currently totals $500,000, is geared toward helping as many credit unions with financial needs as possible to sharpen the skills of their lending professionals by exposing them to a variety of resources geared toward improving education, skills and opportunities in the lending field.

"At PSCU Financial Services, we are committed to helping credit unions of all sizes develop new programs that attract new members and enhance member service," said David Serlo, president and CEO, PSCU Financial Services.

Meanwhile, elected to the executive committee of CUNA Lending Council were: Joe Brancucci of Boeing Employees CU in Tukwila, Wash., re-elected to a one year term as chair; Philip Greer of State Employees' CU in Raleigh, N.C., vice chair; and Lloyd Gill of City County CU in Ft. Lauderdale, Fla., secretary/treasurer. Also elected to the executive committee were: Vicki Lovett of Suncoast Schools FCU in Tampa, Fla., and Suzanne Picard of CommonWealth Central CU in San Jose, Calif.
