COLUMBIA, Mo. – A repo man working for Missouri CU who repossessed an SUV from a Columbia Wal-Mart this week had the vehicle only five minutes before it was stolen.
The repo went inside the nearby Fuddrucker’s restaurant for five minutes and noticed the vehicle was gone when he came out.
The repo man then contacted the vehicle’s owner, a Wal-Mart employee, who said he did not know what had happened to the vehicle, according to police.
No arrests have been made or suspects identified in the case, and the vehicle has been entered into a national database of stolen vehicles.
