SAN ANTONIO – River City FCU has introduced a bilingual mobile banking app, rcitymobile, which offers service in English and Spanish and is available in both the Apple Apps Store and Google’s Play store.
The San Antonio credit union created its app in cooperation with Catalyst Corporate FCU and apps developer Malauzai, based in Austin, Texas.
River City FCU said the Spanish-language capability also allows the credit union to enhance its service to the local Hispanic market, which is an “important part of its growth strategy,” according to Kim Heinze, president of the credit union.
The credit union plans to add mobile remote deposit capture to its app early next year.
