Robber Who Kidnapped Two Tellers Gets 30 Years Behind Bars

BILOXI, Miss. – A man who used a semiautomatic rifle to rob a Keesler FCU branch and kidnap two tellers will serve 30 years in prison.

The holdup took place April 18, 2008, when a total of $68,584 was taken. All of the money was recovered

Daniel Corring pleaded guilty to one count of armed robbery and two counts of kidnapping.

Corring was arrested after leading police on a high-speed chase. Corring ordered one of the tellers to use her vehicle as a getaway car.
