Robins FCU Acquires Branch, Member Accounts In Rare CU Deal

WARNER ROBINS, Ga. – Robins FCU said it has acquired all the middle Georgia assets and accounts of Kentucky’s Park Community CU in an unusual credit union transaction.

As a result of the deal, $1.4 billion Robins gained about 1,800 members and assets increased $15 million. The two branches give it a total of 19.

Louisville’s Park Community had two branches in Macon, one of which was shut down since Robins already had a nearby branch. The credit union is healthy with more than 10% net worth and $465 million in assets.
