Robins FCU Employee Sentenced To Prison For Theft

MACON, Ga. – A federal judge last week sentenced a former Robins FCU employee to serve three years in prison for stealing identities to apply for loans and credit cards.

Kimberly Brown, 35, also must pay $76,000 in restitution.

Brown, who pleaded guilty to identity fraud and aggravated identity fraud, applied for three loans and five credit cards using stolen identities and false information in 2007 and 2008. She then obtained cash advances from the credit cards and pocketed proceeds from the loans.
