S1 Breaks Into The Black

NORCROSS, Ga. – S1 Corp. reported a slight profit yesterday for its fiscal first quarter of $682,000.

The first quarter profit, fueled by a 13% in revenues, compared to a $1.1 million loss for the same period last year. First quarter revenues were $57.8 million, compared to $51.2 million for last year’s first quarter.

"We got off to a good start in 2011," said Johann Dreyer, S1's CEO. "In addition to adding nine new customers in the first quarter, we had a very strong quarter of cross-sales into our existing customer base. With the shift in our business model largely behind us and the significant sales opportunities we continue to see around the world, we are raising our 2011 financial guidance."
