SAN DIEGO – Judy Flores, a well-traveled California credit union executive, was named chief financial officer of $5.1 billion San Diego County CU.
Flores has 28 years experience in credit unions, serving as president of Heritage Community CU in Sacramento, and of McDonnell Douglas West FCU in Huntington Beach, Calif. She also worked in management roles at The Golden 1 CU and SAFE CU.
San Diego County CU, which hired Teresa Halleck away from the Golden 1 to be its president last year, reported first quarter net income of $23 million and a net of $56.9 million for 2010.
