SAN DIEGO — San Diego County Credit Union this week launched its new website, featuring a new design that is easier to navigate regardless of the device being used to access it - including smartphones.
The $6.3 billion-asset SDCCU said the website redesign showcases content that can flow seamlessly for either desktop or mobile users. The design, said SDCCU, is "creative, innovative and enhances visual engagement and interaction with users while promoting content presentation and functionality."
Other features include simplified access to information, including online live chat, and easy-to-find updates on SDCCU rates and popular services, as well as location-friendly maps to any of its 30,000 surcharge-free ATMs. There is a community calendar of events, reviews called "Why People Love Us" and the exclusive "Not a Big Bank Blog," with messages reinforcing SDCCU's community and people focus.
"Our members, in growing numbers, are connecting to us with Internet-enabled mobile and tablet devices, closing the gap with traditional desktop devices," said SDCCU President and CEO Teresa Halleck. "Our redesign reflects our ability to successfully meet the access needs of all our members. Our goal for a successful Web presence is to provide our members with the critical, straightforward information they seek, resulting in a meaningful and satisfying user experience for all."
San Diego County Credit Union is San Diego's largest locally-owned financial institution serving San Diego, Riverside and Orange counties.
