SBA Waives 7(a) Fees For Loans Less Than $150,000

WASHINGTON – The Small Business Administration said it is waiving all fees on loans made through its guaranteed 7(a) Loan Program in the amount of $150,000 or less starting Oct. 1.

As a result, the SBA said, a small business owner obtaining a $150,000 loan will save more than $2,500.

The 7(a) Loan Program is the SBA’s primary program to help start-up and existing small businesses and is a popular program for credit unions.
