MASSENA, N.Y. – SeaComm FCU said yesterday it has pledged $10,000 to help fund local food pantries.

SeaComm employees will hold a variety of activities designed to take in money to replenish the shelves at neighborhood centers in Massena, Malone and Potsdam as well as the ComLinks food bank in Malone.
Credit union employees were able to raise enough money in 2008 to donate $15,000 to the Hospice organizations in St. Lawrence and Franklin counties and in previous years employees have raised money for 4H Camp Overlook, First Book and the Children’s Miracle Network.
