SECU Helping To 'State' Case

For the second straight year, State Employees' Credit Union here is providing the funding for a statewide radio campaign that highlights services the state of North Carolina provides to its citizens.

Like last year's campaign, it is themed "What's In It For You!" and features Kay Yow, NC State University's women's basketball coach as the spokesperson. Time has been bought on six stations for the spots, which feature workers from 10 state agencies, including the Division of Water Quality and Division of Aging to NC's Emergency Management Division and the State Bureau of Investigation-all vital areas of State Government.

"SECU began funding this Image campaign in January of 2002 to honor and recognize our state's dedicated workforce and bring awareness of the valuable programs and services made available through tax dollars," said SECU CEO Jim Blaine. More information is available at www.whatsinitforyou.org.
