SAN ANTONIO – Security Service CU said it signed with DocuSign for the company’s electronic signature service as the final leg in its online account acquisition process.

The credit union added DocuSign’s optional ID Check authentication feature, provided through RSA. DocuSign ID Check is a knowledge-based authentication method that validates the identity of a signer. Results of DocuSign ID Check authentication are recorded securely as part of the signing record.

DocuSign said its products allow members to quickly complete and electronically sign new account forms from a variety of Internet-connected devices.

The $6 billion credit union anticipates the DocuSign service will be fully implemented for member use in the first quarter of 2011.
