EUGENE, Ore. – SELCO Community CU, formerly a teachers’ credit union, has given 83 mini-grants of $250 each to area educators.
The credit union said the grants will help educators across Oregon implement creative educational projects and fill in the gaps left by school budget shortfalls.
Educators from any of the 21 counties SELCO serves are eligible to apply for mini-grants. Applications are available each year in late August and due in early October.
