PORTSMOUTH, N.H. – Service CU said it has implemented DigitalPersona’s Pro Enterprise software and U.are.U Fingerprint Readers to secure access to applications and member information, and improve employee productivity.
The company said the combination of DigitalPersona Pro software with fingerprint biometrics will enable Service CU to quickly and securely gain access to applications and websites, resulting in faster member response times.
DigitalPersona said Pro Enterprise allows employees to log in to the network once and then acts as a password vault, enabling automatic login into any application or website with one-touch fingerprint authentication.
“Our employees had so many logins they could not remember them all, so they were just writing them down anywhere,” said William Arnold, chief information officer at the credit union. “With DigitalPersona’s software and fingerprint readers, employees no longer have to remember passwords. The solution simplifies the login process across the board and improves our ability to provide exceptional service to our members.”
