PORTSMOUTH, N.H. – Service CU has introduced WebDeposit24, which allows members to make check deposits from the comfort of their home.
Members can scan in both sides of their checks with WebDeposit24, eliminating the need to deliver checks to a credit union branch or deposit-taking ATM.
Located inside the online banking application, WebDeposit24 will also require multifactor authentication to confirm members' identities. Members need a high-speed Internet enabled PC or Mac with a TWAIN complaint scanner.
Members will be able to make deposits from anywhere a scanner is available, which it deems critical for its mobile membership. In addition, members can save money on stamps and gas, while saving time on driving to the branch and waiting in line.
