BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – Service One CU said Valerie Brown is retiring after 34 years as CEO of the $120-million credit union.
Brown joined the credit union as its manager in 1978 when it was $400,000 Western Kentucky University CU and was based in the school’s Faculty House. Today, it has four branches and is the largest locally owned financial institution in its market.
