MOSS POINT, Miss. – Singing River FCU has joined the “Bras Across the River” breast cancer fundraiser which will stretch donated bras across the length of the Mississippi 613 bridge on Oct. 28.

The credit union has pledged $1 to the Susan B. Komen for the Cure Foundation for every bra donated at one of its branches in Moss Point, Pascagoula, Lucedale or Mobile.
Trudi Mullins, event organizer for Singing River, estimates it will take about 5,000 bras to span the mile-long bridge.
