HOUSTON – Smart Financial CU said it raised more than $12,000 through it tenth annual golf tournament which will be used to finance the credit union’s Ruby Sue Clifton Scholarship Program.
The program provides ten $1,000 scholarships to eligible high school seniors each spring.
The scholarship program and golf tournament are named in honor of the late Ruby Sue Clifton, who served as a volunteer member of the credit union’s board of directors for more than 44 years.
