FORT WAYNE, Ind. – Officials with Three Rivers FCU here report they are working with members who have fallen victim to an automated phone scam in which they are told their credit card needs to be reactivated.
Those who were unaware they were about to become victims were asked by an automated voice system to provide a credit card number. The credit union stressed to local media, however, that the number of members who have fallen for scam is very, very limited and amounts to less than a dozen.
