The first 100 drivers in line starting at 9:30 a.m. at the Pitt Stop/Shell gas station located at 3809 Sunset Blvd. in West Columbia will receive up to $20 in free gas at the specified pump, courtesy of the Credit Unions of South Carolina.

“MADTAG is all about finding ways to make a difference in the lives of others and our community,” said Melody Aleman, marketing coordinator for S.C. Telco FCU. “Just like a game of tag, we want people to pass on the good deed to someone else.”

Other participating credit unions are Carolina Foothills FCU and Carolina Collegiate FCU.

The Credit Unions of South Carolina have launched a Facebook page for MADTAG, encouraging people to submit examples of good deeds that have been done for them, and who is responsible for them, which could lead to being chosen for a reward that will be given out monthly by the Credit Unions of South Carolina.
