MELBOURNE, Fla. Space Coast CU gave away $20 gas cards at the Deltona Circle K convenience store Friday as part of an anniversary celebration serving the community.
“October marks SCCU’s 20th year serving Volusia and Flagler counties, and we wanted to give back to the local community,” said Kimberly Tyree, director of regional services for Volusia and Flagler for the $3.2-billion credit union. “Surprising residents with $20 to help fill up their tank is a fun way to engage and educate the community about SCCU Members Watchdog.”
The Space Coast CU Watchdog provides members with the peace of mind that their financial institution is looking out for them, said Tyree. In addition to the gas card giveaway, staff members from the Deltona Branch were on hand to answer questions, and gave away additional scratch-off cards for instant cash awards and incentives redeemable at Volusia and Flagler county Space Coast branches.
