ST. LOUIS, Mo. – Almost 1,000 students danced the night away at Washington University Saturday to raise almost $170,000 for the Children’s Miracle Network.
The fundraising was spurred by a $25,000 donation from At. Louis Community CU and the proceeds will go to St. Louis Children’s Hospital and Cardinal Glennon Children’s Medical Center. Some children from these hospitals were in attendance.
This year marked a milestone in Dance Marathon history. The group raised its millionth dollar since the annual event began in 2000.
