LEOMINISTER, Mass. - (09/13/04) -- Workers' CU has joined again withthe local newspaper, the Sentinel & Enterprise, to providenewspapers for students at dozens of area schools. The Newspapersin Education program is a three-year partnership promotingchildhood literacy and knowledge of current events. The newspapersare distributed to elementary, middle and high schools, and thelocal junior college. The program also provides workshops forteachers on how to integrate the newspapers into classroomactivities.
