Lyon joined CUANM in 1994 and became CEO in 2003.

Stull previously worked as SVP of strategy at Arizona State Credit Union in Phoenix. With 25 years of financial services executive leadership, CUANM said he is experienced in strategy development and political advocacy.

"I am proud to be selected to lead a strong group of credit unions in New Mexico," Stull said in a statement. "One-third of all New Mexico residents are credit union members, so leveraging that strength and the cooperative power of our credit unions is at the top of my agenda. New Mexico is a state that exemplifies the American spirit of independence, and its credit unions are a symbol of that spirit."

Stull worked with the Coalition for Credit Union Access, a ballot initiative to defeat payday lending in Arizona and was named the state's Political Advocate of the Year in 2010.

A director of the OneAZ Community Foundation, Stull has served on the Marketing Association of Credit Unions board of directors.
