TAMPA, Fla. - (10/06/05) -- Suncoast Schools FCU is scheduled toopen its vast new contact center here Thursday, one of the biggestcall centers in the country. The 41,500 square-foot facility willemploy 350 associates to handle the credit union giant's 8,000calls and 750 emails a day. County officials are saying the newproject will have an economic impact of $37.5 million a year on thelocal economy. Suncoast Schools FCU is Florida's largest creditunion, with more than $3.5 billion in assets and 325,000members.
