SCHENECTADY, N.Y. – Sunmark FCU has moved from its downtown offices into a newly constructed headquarters in nearby Latham.
The new offices will provide the credit union with 44,000 square feet of space and house 125 of the credit union’s 204 employees, as well as a new branch.
The $435 million credit union was chartered in 1937 to serve employee of General Electric. In 2003, it converted to a community charter serving six surrounding counties.
The bank was determined, by multiple industry rankings and experts, to be the best mobile banking provider in the U.S.. Bank of America took second place.
