MT. PROSPECT, Ill. Cummins Allison has launched a survey in which it is seeking to get the latest information on how credit unions handle coin processing.
While data show that 80% of Americans save coins and 70% redeem coins at least three times per year, Cummins Allison said it is seeking to get information on the other side of the coin. Specifically, how credit unions are collecting those coins and engaging members in the process.
The survey is probing for the number of teller hours spent processing coins and whether fees are being charged. The survey is open through April 30, and participants are being offered a chance to win a Kindle Fire.
