CROFTON, Md. – Evidence found during the arrest of a local man charged with holding up a nearby bank last week could link him to four recent bank and credit union robberies, including hold ups at a Comstar FCU branch and at Northrop Grumman FCU.
Earl Pegram, 56, was arrested at his home last week after a local task force used surveillance footage and photos to identity him. During his arrest police discovered evidence lining him to the crimes, they said.
He is also believed to be responsible for robberies at branches of PNC, Wachovia, M&T Bank and Old Line Center Bank, among others.
