ELKHART, Ind. – A suspect was arrested last weekend in the January robbery at Berrien Teachers CU that left an accomplice dead after a shootout with a credit union security guard.

Glenn Dooley-Porter is believed to have been among three men who went to the credit union branch around 10:20 a.m. on Jan. 18 and tried to rob the facility. A security guard was on duty because the branch had been robbed just three months before, and he exchanged gunfire with the robbers, fatally wounding one of them.
Davarence Kimbrough, 22, died later that day at a local hospital, where his accomplices left him during their getaway.
