PORTLAND, Maine – Synergent, a CUSO owned by the Maine CU League, is rebating $750,000 to credit unions that use its products and services.
The company said the rebate will be paid to CUs according to the level of business each CU did with Synergent between Aug. 1, 2009, and July 31, 2010.
“With the additional expenses credit unions have faced in the past 18 months, from share insurance assessments to increased regulatory requirements, we are pleased to be able to provide our credit union partners with this rebate in recognition and appreciation of their support,” said Synergent CEO John Murphy.
Approximately 200 CUs use Synergent for various technology, card, check processing, direct marketing and shared branching services.
