LAKE JACKSON, Texas – Texas Dow Employees CU, which has been expanding its TDECU Insurance Agency, announced two more insurance deals to add to the CUSO.
The $2-billion credit union said it has acquired Assurance Insurance Agency of Bellville, Texas, and Burridge Insurance Agency in Angleton, Texas. The two deals closed Thursday.
Assurance Insurance specializes in commercial insurance for small and mid-sized businesses, while Burridge Insurance has an expertise in life and health insurance and employee benefits. Financial terms of the deals were not disclosed.
The latest acquisitions come after last month’s purchase of Associated Insurance Agency, which provides property and casualty, and commercial products to the business community.
TDECU Insurance offers personal property and casualty, commercial products, payment protection, travel and life insurance, among other lines.
