SAGINAW, Mich. – After 30 years of service, Team One CU CEO Konnie Werner is retiring from the $320 million credit union on Feb. 16.
She is being succeeded as CEO by Gerald Hitto, the credit union president who has been with Team One since 1994.
Werner helped built the credit union from $17 million in assets and 14 employees to more than $320 million and 100 employees and eight student-run branches. Werner plans to remain active after retirement by starting a business venture to assist the elderly with their financial needs and lifestyle transitions.
