Telcom CU Signs For CO-OP Financial’s Call Center Services

FERNDALE, Mich. – Telcom CU will implement CO-OP Financial Services’ Members Services suite for 24/7 call center services.

“We wanted to maintain longer hours of member service without adding call center staff and related operating expenses,” said Derrick Barber, director of branch operations for Telcom CU.

The $465 million credit union already uses CO-OP’s network, payment processing and shared branching services.

CO-OP said its Member Center offers a wide range of member services exclusively for credit unions, such as after-hours and as-needed call center duties, handling account inquiries, routine transactions and outbound calling to support marketing and other initiatives to members.
