TEXARKANA, Texas – A former teller for Texar FCU pleaded guilty Monday to embezzling more than $50,000 from the credit union.
Wendy McDonald, 35, dabbed her eyes while she pleaded guilty to pocketing $52,696 from Sept. 1, 2007, to Oct. 24, 2008. McDonald was able to steal the money by creating fraudulent loans, according to court documents.
She is scheduled for sentencing this summer.
