Teller Fired After Trying To Drain Member’s Account

TAMPA, Fla. – A teller at Suncoast Schools FCU was terminated after she was caught disguising her voice and pretending to be the account holder trying to wire $8,500 out of the account.

The teller did not get any money and was fired after the credit union alerted law enforcement.

Tanisha Murphy, 22, was arrested and charged with fraudulent use of personal information and grand theft.

Murphy was released on $7,500 bond.
